Nursing assistance robot system
To assist the physical labor and to prevent injuries of nurses and caregivers during the work, we develop a power-assist-modular (PAM) mobile robot that can move easily at a confined area of the hospital and assist three major physical works of nurses: moving a heavy nursing cart, aiding sit-to-stand motion of patients and elders, and lifting patients.
